GREAT FALLS - The CM Russell boy's track team punished Billings Senior and Billings Skyview in a triangular track and field meet Saturday afternoon.

Great Falls High topped Billings West in a dual meet also at Memorial Stadium.

The Skyview Falcons were paced by Jason Swenson, who captured three individual victories in the long jump (20-7), high jump (6-0) and triple jump (39-10).

Billings Senior's Mills Bale also grabbed individual titles in the pole vault with vault of 12 feet and the 110 hurdles with a time of 17 seconds flat.

Other individual winners were Curtis Abbott of Skyview with discus throw of 155 feet, 6 inches and Jim Kohles of Senior won top honors in the shot put with a toss of 48 feet 3 1/4 inches.

Billings West gave a solid team effort but came up short, Jeremy Krueger grabbed an individual title in the 110 hurdles over teammate Matt Zoeller with a time of 15.8.

Will Spring had an impressive time of 42.6 in the 300 hurdles, beating teammate Zoeller by almost five seconds.
